Day 2

Breakfast at hotel

Transfer to Kennedy Space Center™, Cape Canaveral, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
Group interactive sessions in engineering, technology, and design team-building activities, private meeting with a veteran NASA astronaut, tour of the launch pads and viewing of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, briefing on NASA’s preparation for our journey to Mars, and 3D IMAX showing of images of Earth from space.

Lunch at the Kennedy Space Center™

Mid-afternoon transfer to Florida Institute of Technology
Florida Tech is a private, not-for-profit, doctoral/research university located near the Atlantic Ocean in Melbourne, FL. Notable alumni include several NASA engineers and astronauts. Employers include NASA, Lockeed Martin, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Wells Fargo, General Dynamics, Johnson & Johnson, Ford Motors, Pfizer, Bristol-Meyers, etc.

Transfer to Mote Marine Laboratory on the eastern coast of Florida.
Group interactive sessions and briefings focus on Mote’s oceanic and environmental research. Research topics include the studies of human cancer using marine models, the health of wild fisheries, developing sustainable and successful fish restocking techniques and food production technologies. Other research programs include the use of technology in the study of manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, sharks and coral reefs.

Lunch on the Gulf of Mexico

Transfer to Ringling College of Art & Design
RCAD is a private, not-for-profit, four-year college located near the Gulf of Mexico in Sarasota, FL. Notable alumni include several winners of the Emmys, ADDYs, Oscars, and Guggenheim Fellowships. Employers include Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Google, Hallmark, Apple, General Motors, Electronic Arts, Hasbro, Ralph Lauren, etc.
